The south-east - charming and unspoilt

Countless unspoilt bays, marvellous beaches, romantic cycling and walking routes among the almond and orange groves, idyllic villages and excellent restaurants – the south-east of Majorca is a paradise for sun-worshippers, water sports enthusiasts, those who just want to chill out, golfers and lovers of the finer things in life. Although this region offers a wide range of high-quality leisure options, it has been spared from mass tourism and its main distinguishing feature is the magnificent, unspoilt landscape.

Llucmajor, the largest municipality on the island, stretches all the way from Playa de Palma down south to the Caribbean-like beach of Es Trenc. Property prices in idyllic villages like Campos, Felanitx and the seaside villages of Santanyí, Portocolom and Cala Dor, are still relatively low, despite the excellent location and facilities. Locals and residents from elsewhere live mainly in houses in the country and apartments on the coast, at one with nature and the charming surroundings.
